Lot's Wife

I got these pics for a class i recently did. In Gen 19 is the story of Lot and his family leaving Sodom as it is destroyed and the area "sowed with salt(now the dead sea!) They were told by the angels to not look back, Lot's wife didn't listen and she was turned into a pillar of salt.

The proof is in the pictures!

Lot's wife is still there!
Up on the bank overlooking the Dead sea.
You can actually go there and see!
There are signs pointing the way to it and if you google around, you can find maps and directions etc.
 

There is almost no erosion because of the high magnesium content -makes it extremely hard like petrified rock.
